At Southwood we have 21st century learning equipment to promote student engagement and the advancement of learning in this digital age. By incorporating the use of one of the following gadgets in a lesson plan and/or project for your students to complete you will have earned a badge for the gadget challenge:

How to get started |
Review the available tools and decide which tool would be best for the curriculum topic you are teaching. Determine what type of devices you will need to complete the activity and how students will be grouped.
Most students have used the gadgets during their enrichment time in the media center, but may need a refresher on basic operation of these 21st century tools (please see our Google Classroom for online resources and teacher guides). See this Google Doc for quick references on all of the available tools. |
